History	The first station on this frequency, the ILGWU`s WFDR-FM, was on the air from 1949 to 1952. The station signed on again on December 1, 1956 as WFMX, which later became classical music WNCN. WNCN briefly switched to AOR WQIV on November 7, 1974, again becoming classical WNCN 8/75 - 12/93. Current call letters and Active Rock format adopted 12/18/93; switch to Classic Rock 7/1/96.
