History	Operating with the same call letters since February, 1925, WMCA originated at the McAlpin Hotel and moved to its present frequency, 570kc, in 1928. After the advent of television, WMCA began to phase in pop music in 1958, ushering in the "Good Guy" era of Top 40 music and high-profile dj`s in 1960. WMCA switched to all-talk on 9/21/70. The present religious format was introduced on September 17, 1989.
