History	Boasting the oldest continuously-used call letters and the only remaining three-letter calls in the NY area, WOR first went on the air on February 22, 1922, broadcasting from Bamberger`s Department Store in Newark, NJ. The WOR studios moved to NYC in 1926 and the station settled in at 710kc in 1927. Bambergers/Macy`s sold the station to General Tire (later RKO-General) in 1952, which held on to the station until 1987. Buckley Radio purchased the station in 1989. On August 13, 2012, Buckley Radio announced that it had agreed to sell the station to Clear Channel. The sale closed on December 20, 2012.
Comments	The WOR morning show, "Rambling with Gambling", aired from March 8, 1925 until September 11, 2000, and resumed in May, 2008.
